RICOH France and Multistation have signed an agreement confirming their collaboration on the sale and services of Ricoh’s new 3D PRODUCTION PRINTERS PA (polyamide) and PP (polypropylene) in France.
Announced for the 3D PRINT 2016 event, this agreement gives RICOH the opportunity to speed up the release on the market of the “Selective Laser Sintering” RICOH AM S5500p machine, a high-standard production tool with a 550x550x500 mm volume and a high execution speed.
Pierre Antoine HURE, Manager of RICOH France Production Printing division, says: “We want to go fast, as fast as our machines, and Multistation will help us do just that! We’re quite pleased with this first distribution agreement, which will be key to our success. Whole sections of industry are being disrupted by the arrival of 3D prototyping, and Ricoh is determined to be one of the main actors of this new industrial era.” Henri Soury-Lavergne, Managing Director at Multistation, acknowledges that the RICOH range completes harmoniously their new line of non-metal additive manufacturing machines. “We intend to cover each and every need for additive manufacturing in the industry of the future. Collaborating with RICOH opens new and wider scopes for us in the automobile and aeronautic industries. There is no denying that we were seduced by RICOH’s reputation of reliability and quality services!”
