TROY, Mich. – June 14, 2014 – solidThinking, Inc. announced today that it has added MULTISTATION to its global network of channel partners. MULTISTATION SAS will provide solidThinking Inspire software and support to customers in France.
“The expansion of solidThinking Inspire usage this year has been phenomenal,” said Jim Hassberger, President of solidThinking. “We have trained almost a thousand new users in the last six months. Adding new partners to continue this growth and provide customers with high quality support is essential. MULTISTATION has a very strong reputation for technical expertise and customer service.”
Inspire allows design engineers, product designers and architects to create and investigate structurally efficient concepts quickly and easily. The software is easy to learn and works with existing CAD tools to help design structural parts right the first time, reducing costs, development time, material consumption and product weight.
Henri Soury-Lavergne, the new COO of MULTISTATION noted,, “solidThinking Inspire is an exciting new technology that generates material layouts within a package space using the loads as an input. We look forward to introducing Inspire to new and existing customers especially in the field of additive manufacturing. This software will be the dynamic entry point of our new LATTICE ENGINEERING division.”
Located in Paris, MULTISTATION is a leading provider of complete solutions of digital manufacturing. Not only does MULTISTATION provide machine tools and rapid prototyping machines, but it also sells and supports additive manufacturing systems. This brings an additional synergy ; the underlying algorithms in Inspire can propose designs ideally suited to the freedom inherent in the additive manufacturing processes.
