Bionic Production GmbH was founded by former employees of the renowned Laser Zentrum Nord in Hamburg in 2015. In early 2018, the company moved to Lueneburg and Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HLLA) became a majority shareholder in August 2019.
Bionic Production uses the disruptive approach of bionic 3D printing (metal and plastic printing) for the digital product and supply chain transformation. As part of the HHLA Group and with in-depth engineering know-how, they develop innovative and efficient products as well as new business models and solutions. This allows their partners to not only increase their profitability, but also to strengthen their future viability with a sustainable form of added value.
