FastForm FF-M220
This FastForm FF-M220 is a pre-owned industrial metal 3D printer using Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF/SLM) technology, available through Multistation’s Second Life program. Originally designed for dental laboratories and manufacturers of small to medium-sized precision metal parts, it is equipped with twin 500W fiber lasers for faster build speeds compared to single-laser systems.
The machine builds parts layer by layer inside a sealed chamber under controlled argon or nitrogen atmosphere, with automatic oxygen monitoring. It includes a quick-mounting build platform, automatic powder feeding, a fume filtration system, water cooling, and automatic recovery after power outages, all managed via an integrated touchscreen. Print preparation is handled through FastForm’s proprietary FastLayer software.
Runs on standard single-phase 220V power, making it easy to integrate into workshops without heavy industrial infrastructure — a cost-effective option for entering metal additive manufacturing.
