MULTISTATION SAS is pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with the British manufacturer WAAM3D, a pioneer in Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) and a leading provider of metal additive manufacturing solutions, to coincide with the international METAL AMS conference organized by Cetim in Senlis on March 25 and 26.

Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing enables the production of very large components in terms of size and mass, whether in titanium, steel, bronze, nickel, or aluminium. Its main advantages include cost reductions through waste reduction, simplified supply chains, and lead time reduction, resulting in significant gains in cost, delivery time, and environmental performance.

Its latest machine, the RoboWAAM® PLUS, represents the newest generation of large-format WAAM technology, featuring the patented-protected GMAX multi-wire process for industry-leading control and efficiency. Under optimal conditions, RoboWAAM® PLUS achieves deposition rates of up to 15 kg/h with process speeds up to five times faster, while maintaining exceptional quality and precision. RoboWAAM® PLUS supports MIG, MAG, and CMT processes, ensuring unmatched productivity and performance. In addition to the RoboWAAM Plus model, the company offers a compact MiniWAAM system designed for R&D, in-situ alloying, mixed materials and digital process monitoring, as well as the standard RoboWAAM model, creating a versatile and well-rounded product portfolio. Both configurations are also available with Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) technology, along with its dual-wire upgrade, the PMAX process.

This strategic agreement allows MULTISTATION to expand its DED (Direct Energy Deposition) offering by providing large-scale additive manufacturing solutions tailored to the needs of demanding industries such as aerospace, energy, defence and rail.

By representing WAAM3D, MULTISTATION strengthens its position as an integrator of innovative industrial solutions and supports its customers in transitioning toward more flexible and sustainable manufacturing processes.

“This partnership with WAAM3D is fully aligned with our development strategy around metal additive manufacturing technologies. It enables us to deliver high value-added solutions to address the industrial challenges of tomorrow,” said Yannick Loisance, CEO of Multistation.
