Digital manufacturing provider since 1987
Multistation SAs was created in 1987 by Yannick Loisance, its current owner and CEO, and is aimed at companies wishing to equip themselves in digital and additive manufacturing, making it one of the pioneers of the sector.
Multistation’s expertise, acquired over the past 30 years, covers numerous sectors across automotive, aerospace, railway, energy, medical, sub-contractor, University and Technology Transfer Center sectors, jewelery and dental laboratories … These are include small/medium enterprises and major accounts such as Renault, Peugeot, Citroen, Safran, Airbus, SNCF, Cartier …
These technologies can be far less effective without the support of the engineers of the new division “Consulting and Services”. This team can intervene at the request of the user at each critical phase of the value chain that surrounds the process, mainly in metal additive manufacturing (design, simulation, materials, post-processing, tomographic control, HSE, implementation constraints), before, during, and after arrival in the production cycle. They advise the company at each phase of the project, to define needs, set limits and accelerate the integration of these disruptive, specific and cross-cutting technologies.
Multistation teams, composed of young application engineers, service technicians and experienced engineers, ensure the integration of selected equipment with partners of excellence, manufacturers of digital and additive manufacturing devices: machine tools high precision, lathes, milling machines, aeronautical riveting machines, railway machines, machines for the industrialization of composites, 3D printers, 3D scanners, additive manufacturing machines for metals and polymers, design software and simulation … They ensure their deployment on site as well as maintenance and continuity guarantee. Multistation assists the user in the management of its technology asset pool through an exchange policy to protect it from the risk of obsolescence.
The activity of Multistation is organized around 4 divisions:
• Digital manufacturing, machine tools and industrial equipment
• Additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping
• Consulting and services
• Multistation Second Life with a market platform for “certified pre owned machines”
The company is based in Montparnasse, Paris and has several showrooms in Paris and Saclay, near Paris, in the DIGITEO premises of CEA. The back office and supply chain are located in Dinard, west of France. Multistation is preparing to open an office in early 2018 in China following the signing of an agreement with the city of Haining, near Shanghai, for the creation of the Haining Additive Manufacturing Competence Center (HAMCC), www.hamcc.org.
Multistation, a thirty-year-old company, has successfully transitioned to Industry 4.0 by reinforcing its role as an additive and digital manufacturing engineering company.
