A pioneer in the distribution of additive manufacturing technology in France, Multistation announces its partnership with the Austrian company SBI for the supply of metal additive manufacturing machines using PAAM technology (Plasma Arc Additive Manufacturing). SBI is an Austrian manufacturer of FA metal machines using this technique, intended for the production of high volume parts. The machines allow the rapid production of metal roughs for subsequent machining. PAAM technology consists of a very rapid deposit, 10 kg / h for steels, of a wire by plasma fusion. It allows the shaping of reactive materials such as titanium. The manufacturer now offers two types of machines, medium and large.
