After a period of absence, the SmartBench is back at Multistation. And it’s back with reinforcements: the machine is now marketed by Trend Tool Technology, the British leader in router tools since 1955, which has taken over the development and distribution of the SmartBench from Yeti Tool, the company that designed and launched it.
The SmartBench Precision Pro+ remains what it has always been: the first CNC router that is both industrial-grade and truly portable. It machines panels up to 2,500 × 1,250 mm with an accuracy of ± 0.5 mm, assembles in less than 3 minutes without calibration, and fits in a standard utility van. On the job site, in the workshop, for training, or in flexible production—it brings the power of a stationary machine wherever it’s needed.
The Precision Pro+ model features the variable-speed SC2 spindle (5,000 to 24,000 rpm) paired with YetiPilot technology, which monitors and adjusts spindle load in real time to optimize every job in progress. The 10.1″ touchscreen console receives files via Wi-Fi or USB, and the Job Recovery feature allows you to resume a job exactly where it was interrupted.
Solid wood, MDF, plywood, composite panels (Dibond, Corian), plastics (polycarbonate, PMMA, PVC), engineering foams, and aluminum: the SmartBench processes a wide range of materials, making it a tool suited to a wide variety of sectors—carpentry, interior design, signage, shipbuilding, vehicle outfitting, furniture manufacturing, stage sets, and many more.
The SmartBench’s versatility was recently demonstrated in an unexpected way. Unveiled for the first time at the ABTT Theatre Show in London in June 2026—the leading trade show for theater technicians in the United Kingdom—the machine won a product award presented by a jury of independent professionals, recognizing the event’s most deserving products without any commercial strings attached. Its portability, dust management, and intuitive operation particularly appealed to an audience unaccustomed to this type of machine. Further proof that the SmartBench extends far beyond its traditional markets.
