Meltio was born in 2019 from a joint venture between SICNOVA, a Spanish manufacturer of 3D printing equipment, and a US-based company behind the underlying laser wire deposition technology.
Meltio’s ambition is to make metal additive manufacturing accessible by offering an affordable solution, without compromising on build quality.
At the heart of this technology is a deposition head capable of shaping metal wire, enabling the rapid production of near-net-shape parts ready for machining.
The first generation of this technology was built around a 6-diode laser head (1.2 kW), available as a turnkey system — the M450, now discontinued by Meltio in favor of the next generation — as well as an ENGINE integration kit, ready to be mounted on any CNC system or robot.
In 2024, Meltio launched its second generation with a new blue laser head: the Meltio M600, a 3-axis turnkey system bringing several advances set to transform your supply chain, along with the ENGINE BLUE integration kit (CNC or robot, 1.4 kW).
