LAS VEGAS, NV, USA, – January 7, 2015 Leapfrog 3D Printers announced new partnership with Materialise at International CES held in Las Vegas this week. During a press conference held today with their US distribution partner Wynit, CEO of Leapfrog 3D printers Mathijs Kossen discussed the company’s strategic intent.
Besides working together with customers to push the adoption of 3D printing further, Leapfrog 3D Printers also works with the best partners in each field to be able to add real value for their customers in the shape of customized solutions.
Today they launched a new partnership with Materialise. Kossen: “In this rapidly developing industry we operate in, it is important that we remain agile. Leapfrog 3D Printers and Materialise announced a partnership in software: at the end of Q1, all 3D printing hardware by Leapfrog 3D Printers will be shipped with a highly advanced slicing software made by the Belgium 3D printing service provider. Materialise was founded in 1990 and as such has decades of experience in additive manufacturing and developing high-end software, which has now for the first time ever became available for a desktop 3D printer.
